I like #budokon because it challenges my body in different ways to my regular practice. As I get stronger the movement gets slower (this vid is sped up for IG). I defy gravity and my own limitations. Do we ever stop discussing nutrition? After @thehhlifestyle class this morning at @movementlab.nz, Buffy Gill and I were snapped chatting, πŸ˜‚ haha it looks like Buffy is about to back-hand me but we are actually in furious agreement about what makes an ideology around food automatically unhealthy. 🌱🌱 We both LOVE the fact that many people are becoming more health conscious and plant based but also agree that an 80/20 or even a 90/10 mindset is necessary when wanting to achieve long term healthy eating. (As opposed to an 'all or nothing' mindset). Buffy owns the beautiful blog called @begoodorganics and much like us, can see how women can have these 'healthy' rules that they abide by (paleo, vegan, vegetarian etc) but if its an all or nothing mindset, it creates anxiety or the feeling of failure when chocolate, wine, meat or cheese glorious cheese is consumed.
